HAS FOUR GOALS
1. To rescue animals from imminent euthanasia or from abusive conditions.

Each month more than 100 cats and dogs, kittens and puppies find shelter at ARNI. All of these rescued animals were slated for euthanasia at area shelters. We are in constant contact with shelters within a 100-mile radius and make frequent visits to pick up animals that would otherwise be put to sleep. |
2. To rehabilitate rescued animals and place them in loving, responsible homes.

Our rescued pets are given the medical attention they need and the loving care they crave until we can find just the right home for them. |

Since 1999, we have conducted a Premarin Foal Rescue, traveling to Canada to purchase foals deemed to be a by-product of the Premarin drug industry. In the first 2 years, we saved more than 200 doomed foals and found responsible homes for every one of them. |
3. To provide low-income families with affordable spay / neuter services for their pets.

The mobilization of the $200,000 ARNI Spay / Neuter Bus is one of our proudest accomplishments. This state-of-the-art traveling medical facility gives us the ability to bring this needed service to neighborhoods where for a nominal cost, they can get the care their animals need and deserve. More than 400 animals each month are being cared for through our mobile bus service. |

4. To create a state-of-the-art animal sanctuary where both domestic and exotic animals can be sheltered, cared for, and whenever possible, placed in caring and responsible homes. |
We are proud to say that we are already achieving three of four goals and are beginning the work necessary to build our sanctuary.
